Instrument Helicopter Proficiency Check

UZAIR specializes in vertical IFR helicopter flight training with the R-22 Beta II Instrument Trainer per FAR 61 Regulations. The student must meet the following requirements shown below. Costs are based for an Instrument Helicopter Proficiency Check.

Hold at least a current private pilot certificate with a helicopter rating and log book endorsement from an authorized flight instructor showing the student is current with SFAR 73 Part 61 for the R-22 aircraft.

Hold a current 3rd Class Medical Certificate.
UZAIR will provide the following vertical IFR Helicopter Flight Training per FAR 61 Regulations as follows:

3 HRS R-22 Beta II Instrument Trainer (Simulated IFR PTS Prep)

Instrument Proficiency Check Ride (Simulated IFR PT IPC)

FAR 61.57 paragraph ( d )
..., a person who does not meet the instrument experience requirements of paragraph ( c ) of section 61.57 within the prescribed time, or within 6 calendar months after the prescribed time, may not serve as a pilot in command in weather conditions less than the minimums prescribed for VFR until that person passes an instrument proficiency check consisting of a representative number of tasks required by the instrument rating practical test.
