IFR Pilot Helicopter Add-On
|
UZAIR specializes in vertical IFR helicopter flight training with the R-22 Beta II Instrument Trainer per FAR 61 Regulations. The student must meet the following requirements shown below. Costs are based for an Instrument Helicopter Add-On rating.

Hold a Airplane private pilot certificate with an Instrument Rating.

Hold at least a current private pilot certificate with a helicopter rating and log book endorsement from an authorized flight instructor showing the student is current with SFAR 73 Part 61 for the R-22 aircraft.

Hold a current 3rd Class Medical Certificate.
UZAIR will provide the following vertical IFR Helicopter Flight Training per FAR 61 Regulations as follows:

10 HRS of Ground Training
- 15 HRS R-22 Beta II Instrument Trainer (Simulated IFR)

3 HRS R-22 Beta II Instrument Trainer (Simulated IFR PTS Prep)

Written Logbook Endorsement to take the FAA Airman Practical Test for Instrument Helicopter Rating

Prices are based on a FAA minimum requirement of accumulated aeronautical experience and does not reflect the students learning abilities or consistency in acquiring the skill and knowledge base required to pass the FAA written and check ride for an Instrument Helicopter Rating under FAR 61.
